One violin, two cellos, a Fender bass and drums. This is from an improv session at No Space in Philadelphia last Friday night. I love playing drums to such incredible musicians!!! It is such a privilege.

Oh this is beautiful… But… Might I ask, have you recorded this all by yourself or who are the others that play? (by the way, if you are the one playing the violin, why have a picture of a cello?)
Yes it’s question hour. Anyway, this is marvelous.
U-uhm, okay…. How was that?

This is an old song called “fuzzy owls,” all about how I made up the name of a band (the Fuzzy Owls) to see if a creepy boy would lie and say he liked their music when I mentioned them.
I was jammin’ to some megaphone sound effect, and also had just learned to layer my voice. So.
This is so funny, I really like the background story. Also, the cello sounds wonderful, and the whole melody composition is marvelous.

Hello again. I’ve got some lovely music from you lately, but far to little, I’m starving!
Send me a message if you’ve posted any music on your tumblr. I’ll probably reblog and/or give feedback.
(and I’m talking about music you’ve recorded yourself)
Feed me?
And I mean your own music = audios/videos of you playing/singing/making music.
Gimme some?
(Just send me a message if you have some)

I’m so tired of all the music on tumblr being from already established musicians (or just people uploading music by other people in general), when tumblr is a perfect space for us amateurs to be visible and explore our music.
So I’ll make a promise to you. If you upload an audio/a video of you playing any instrument (including song of course) and then send me a message, I will listen to it and give some sort of feedback and reblog if I like it (which I probably will).
Lighten up my dashboard, will you?
Massive amount of love from me and Viljami
I’ve wanted to make a cover of this song since I first heard it. I imagine it with a cello, three alto singers (maybe one soprano?), a violin of course and… Harmonica?
